About the company

Rachel Perdue, Owner and Creative Director

A life steeped in Jewish tradition, coupled with a career that has spanned many disciplines in both the culinary and fine arts, led Rachel Perdue to found Wild Pomegranate in 2006.

Raised in an observant Jewish environment in Brooklyn, NY, Perdue earned an M.F.A in painting and sculpture from Otis Parsons College of Art and Design. In addition to extensive experience in printmaking, illustration and painting, she has worked as a pastry chef and an art buyer for hospitality design firms.

Her singular vision of an exciting, creative take on the Jewish traditions of graceful gift-giving and entertaining have informed Wild Pomegranate from the start.
